In the superb blog of libero , I found a link to the delicate photography of Don Hong-Oai (1929-2004, Canton/Saigon/San Francisco).
Using several negatives, the artist aims at recreating the style of traditional chinese painting, where perspective ( here, depht of field) is given through progressive dilution of ink.
This is called ‘Pine Peak, Yellow Mountain’, at http://www.gallery71.com/dynamic/artist.asp?ArtistID=16.
