Keith Carter Photographs

It looks like an abstract, doesn’t it?
Actually, this ‘Pelican’ was obtained by putting the object on photographic-sensitive paper, exposing it to light.
Keith Carter used then some chemicals, “including gold and platinum toners”.

I love that snowy softness, so harmonious.
Did you ever see white pelicans flying across the road in front of your car? It happened to us in Minnesota one morning; through the light, luminous mist, it was a vision of pure beauty.
