Yves KRIEF – Artiste Photograff compositeur.

“Do Not Pass” it says, and time has actually stopped in this phantasmagorical street full of symbolic references under an eerie light.

Everything seems possible in the Brooklyn Meat Market’s neighbourhood by Yves Krief (France; the site is bilingual) : typical giant billboards and aerial phone lines, but also an Indian sacred cow , vultures ( for cleaning the bones, right?) and the benediction of a Brazilian statue ( with reddish spots! ). I also like that conspicuously stained old van ( rust or blood?!) next to the inevitable pin-up.

PS. Did you see the lion?
